A Amazon anunciou hoje (ontem) que os donos do Kindle poderão baixar “de graça” um livro por mês de uma seleção de mais de 5000 títulos. Você baixa o livro e não tem data para devolução. Em outras palavras, é seu quase de graça. É preciso ser assinante do serviço Amazon Prime, que sai por US$ 79,00/ano. Basta juntar isso à oferta já existente de quase 13.000 filmes e seriados, que já está incluída na assinatura do Prime, para perceber que a Amazon não está para brincadeira. Só o serviço de streaming já valia a pena. Agora, então, é juntar a fome com a vontade de comer. A Amazon está com a faca e o queijo na mão. Por um lado, vende o hardware (Kindle e Kindle Fire), por outro, vende o conteúdo (áudio, vídeo e texto). E tudo de um único lugar, isto é, onde quer que o consumidor esteja (desde que tenha acesso à Internet).
